Rich Media formats dominate the attention of users across EMEA, reveals Sizmek’s latest Benchmark Report for the first half of 2014. Sizmek is the leading open ad serving platform worldwide, having delivered and analyzed more than 437 billion impressions within the first half of 2014.

According to findings, when compared to standard banners, interactive Rich Media formats generate a 72% higher click-through rate, opening a new window of digital opportunity for agencies and advertisers in EMEA.

The most popular formats among users are banners built in HTML5 protocol (polite, expandable and polite with video), as well as in-stream video ads, which tend to be as much as 13x times more effective than standard solutions.
